Mr. Garmey has extensive experience in helping companies deal with the
change process. Structural Dynamics Associates designs and facilitates
meetings for clients helping them in the strategic planning process and
in team building exercises. The SDA consulting group provides organizations
with state of the art assessment tools that can help your business to
succeed. Garmey believes that every organization faces two kinds of problems—system
problems and people problems. Ron has come to the realization that people
problems when properly solved will lead to greater profitability, greater
productivity, and greater profits. We don’t need to “downsize” rather
we need to “right size” by putting the proper people in the right jobs.
We need to hire right the first time, strengthen our work teams and train
and promote effectively. It isn’t the person but the “fit” with the job
that counts the most in any business.
Ron has worked with a number of Fortune 100 companies over the years including
Alcoa, United States Steel and PPG, as well as Zenon Environmental in
Canada, Hewlett Packard, The Society of Automotive Engineers and numerous
smaller closely held corporations. He has designed and facilitated everything
from two or three hour staff meetings to week-long strategic planning
sessions.
He always begins by understanding the people present and letting them
learn and share “self” to all present. Over the years he has developed
a number of proprietary techniques which allows his clients to understand
and guide organizations with ease.
