The Peacock Inn is a special event facility located on Business Highway 321 in Newton, North Carolina. It is rich with tradition dating back into the 1800’s. Located on 35 acres of rich farmland, this beautiful facility provides you with a wide variety of choices to host your special events. We can provide you with full service planning for your event.

Our large master farmhouse and adjoining hall can serve parties of 5 to 200. For large events outdoor tents can be added to the porch adjacent to the assembly hall. If you prefer your event outdoors, our unique outdoor kitchen along with a large mountain stone grill, and several covered shelters are available.

The Story of the Peacock Inn

In the Sigmon family for four generations, this home has its core a circa 1800 structure with its original log supports.

Operating as a horse farm for several years, it was home to the 3 time Champion Sigmon Belgiums. In the spring of 2006, Martha and Mike Schreier attended an antique auction at the farm and fell in love with both the farm and the family.

Because there were peacocks present on the farm, the Schreier’s decided to name it “The Peacock Inn”.
